Just go through the piece of information from one of the press releases of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy and you can judge by yourself after looking at the last two columns of the table given at the end that how much was the target and how much could have been achieved.
This is self explanatory that how
much attention and care is needed to fulfill the dream of a green powered
nation.
The Ministry of New and Renewable
Energy is implementing a number of schemes / programmes, throughout the
country, for the development and tapping of renewable energy potential. A

from various renewable energy sources during the last three years. During
2013-14, a capacity addition of 640 MW has been achieved till 30.06.2013
